both sound intersting, Buttaji, but I'd rather meet somewhere near Eliots Beach and get to have a stroll there rather than Anna Salai in the current weather (phew, drip, phew...).

Venue: A fruit juice place somewhere in Adyar/Besant Nagar (although I'm a bit confused by the mention of Greams Rd) Date: end of this week or at the weekend. Optional Extra: Beach stroll. wow...I got some work in chennai from 30th May...I might as well fly in on 29th May for the meetup. Just let me know if its finalised. I like Adyar/Beasent nagar beach but Nick there are plenty of Juice places/stall/shop on that the road running parallel to the beach..which one?
 anyway, I'm sure it'll be better than the one we had in Spencer plaza, coffee shop in Landmark..it was too loud, I couldn't hear what everyone was talking !!!!

Nick,
Just to clarify. The fruit shop on greams road is the original name they have a few branches now but kept the name! I know it is very confusing. There must be some one who knows the street. I know it's just up the road from the bus station in Besant Nagar. My lady lived on 3rd cross street which is one block from the beach and it was a short walk up to main rd where the fruit shop is. Enjoy it whomever goes. I wish I could join you folks. Best wishes |
