Chennai Meetups

Ok, let me propose a date:

I was just looking at a Sunday because that seems to be easiest for everybody.

23rd November
30 November
7 December

I am also up for the veggie market stroll! Maybe not as a meetup, but as something extra.

What day would be best for you, Esther? And for Mrs. N?

We can do next sunday for veggie shopping or meet up! Saturdays and Sundays are fine for us anytime!

Nobody asked me, but I'm putting in my thoughts anyhow. Myself and Mr.Ambler (aka Mark) would be available the 30th or the 7th!

Weekends are never good for my wife: she uses them for church and family commitments.

I might try to make it on the 7th.

I'm probibly heading towards Vijayawada soon and it's only a train ride from Chennai, I've also heard that Indian Railways are giving green shield stamps for every 1000kms travelled, though this rumour was probibly started by the joker who said there'd be a train to Khajuraho soon.

It would be a shame to miss Nick's 'better half' though., religion and families, they ruin everything.

And Nick, would be too bad if Mrs. N. can't make it. Do you think she could she make an exception this time and join us?

Sorry, Mirjam... she's already making a couple of weekend exceptions, for other things, including a sick husband and an expected cyclone (that was an aticlimax!). One should not presume on one's wife's days off too much!

Let's plan something next time so she can also join. Would be nice to see her again.

Sorry, don't have a brilliant idea for a venue... But then, having some nice Italian food at Bella Chiao in Besant Nagar doesn't sound like a bad idea.. It's a quiet place as well, so we'll be able to talk.

I think that would not be too far from Nick and Stella, a bit further for Ambler though.

Anyway, it's just an idea...

i would like to attend the meet too (the chennai meetup thread was pointed out to me by a friend). i have been a member for some time, though not a very active one.

so, is the meetup finalised for december 7th?
