Chennai Meetups

Had a good time up our end of the table with esta(and)neil, Madan, Mrs Madan, Ambler and Mr Ambler. Next time will swap ends and get to meet the others, inlcluding Stella and Husband.

Of course, if they swap ends too, we'll be back where we started! Errr... if you see what I mean!

I do love my Eicher map, yes --- now augmented with online stuff that wasn't there (or I didn't know) even a few years ago when I started getting to seriously get to know Chennai.

Google Earth is pretty useful for determining whether what is shown on the map really is a drivable street --- although I still get in some tight spots.

A bit of a late reaction, but here it is! I had a good time last sunday

Too bad there wasn't a differently shaped table, so that we could talk to everybody. Maybe next time we should swap after half an hour, like Nick suggested

Let's plan something soon again.

We did sit in traffic for a very long time that friday and our taxi driver nearly got into a punch up, so quite a stressful period. However, really enjoyed Diwali, put Nov 5th in the UK to shame!
That would be fantastic to go veggie shopping!! Let us know when and where, very kind of you!
