I will be in the S-8 Coach (SLB.7) of 2759 Charminar Express on 31.7.2008 by which I am returning to Hyderabad.

We had a nice beer drink watching the regatta races!

Madras Boat Club beat Colombo Rowing Club hands down.

that was a sneaky little spammer. never had anything like that happen before. would they have had to hack into im to do that? sorry, off topic but i am curious.

No, no technical skills needed, just signed up as a member and posted.

We have filters, and a lot of new-member's posts get held up for moderation before publishing. Without that you would see hundreds of phone, shoe, blah blah blah posts on the board, not to mention the travel agents.

Some automatic stuff is there, but most of the moderators' work is chasing around after this sort of stuff. People see us being narky about posting in SMS, and jumping in when members are about to tear each others' heads off, but most of our work is watching out for spam and travel agents.

How about Independence Day weekend, Sunday (17th) afternoon, say 16:00 to 19:00-ish. That way it could be afternoon tea/coffee/desserts, stretching into dinner time if wanted.

I'm travelling by motorcycle around Tamil Nadu. Any one up for inviting me to drop by for a cup of tea and a chat? Always enjoy having a reason to visit someplace new.

heyi live a hundred kms above chennai in andhra near gudur on a farm.. ur welcome to visit me but the stay is very rustic and basic..

Hiya, all the newbies and oldies in Chennai,

I checked the meeting forum but it seemed a bit slow so decided to start a new threath.

I would really like to meet other trainees/students/expats here. It seems a bit boring here if one does not work in a big company.
Could we meetup somewhere to have a few beers?

For example wednesday 6.8?

Anyone in?
