Whoa! What would I do with 4 to 5 kilos of Tuna?

Sorry... the cats just overheard, and are telling me to go ahead! They ate most of this small one.

In the city. Yes, me too. Generally available, although not keen on bars.

So you wouldn't be on for wandering up the road to the wine shop near Mandaveli Station then?

I used to wander there a decade back. Funny you should know the shop. Hope Mrs. N knows.

I know that district pretty well for a foreigner. Apart from having lived just behind Abhiramapuram 3rd Street for two years, one of my first ever experiences in India was visiting my (London) music teacher's tiny family house in Gurupuram, behind St Mary's church.

These days, many of my car journeys involve Warren Road and cutting through near the RTO --- and therefore include avoiding men in the road who are staggering away from the wine shop!

Mrs N has persuaded me to be more shy than I used to be about wandering around the tiny kupam streets, even when they are a short-cut. Even though I never experienced any fear of the people, it did make me feel disgustingly and conspicuously rich, though. Even so, when lost I tend to find myself in them.

My wife says I must have two previous lives in India; one as a brahmin and another as a slum-dweller. Heck... maybe I was just a poor brahmin!

yes, what a shame ... The place is pretty close to where my girlfriend lives and we would typically grab a quick cheap dinner there before I could drop her home before her curfew hours....
