And my plan is to be a Sunday hermit. I have a busy week ahead:


For lovers of serious Carnatic classical music...

Wednesday, 4th July is my 60th birthday. To mark the day, I decided to sponsor a concert, and my favourite senior artist agreed to sing...
4th July, Wednesday, Ragasudha Hall, Luz Avenue, Mylapore --- 6.15pm
(near to Nagaswara Rao Park and Mahamudra back entrance)

R Vedavalli, vocal,
Accompanied by R K Sriramkumar, violin; K Arunprakash, mridangam; N Guruprasad, ghatam

Today altaf raja nite is at kamraj arangam 6:30pm i have listened to tum to thehre pardesi more than 100 times it was huge hit at that time lets see this is sponsored by some college for their annual day lovers of qawwali can visit

Incidentally, it is also my parent's wedding anniversary. All these years, while growing up, after i realized that it's also the american independence day, I used to ask them if their choice of the date was intentional....
