ok folks, here's what i propose:

3pm Woodlands Drive - In (restaurant)
It's on Catherdral Road (near Gemini Flyover, opposite the USIS, United States Info Service) any auto driver in chennai should know where this place is. It's a popular spot.

Let's meet in the Self-Service Section. I'll be there with a little blue notebook set on the table to we can find each other.

The performance at 6:15 is, oh shoot, i've left the paper at home. It's Bharatanatyam, and I believe Shashank, a flutist, is playing. But, I've been wrong on this before. I saw a man perform the other night and thought it was going to be a femal vocal performance.

But, the Sabha is Rani Seethai Hall / Kalarasana Sabha. It's on Anna Salai, near to Gemini Flyover. In fact, I think it's very close to Woodlands Drive In.

I hope some folks will join me.

Hey people, somehow I missed the announcement, but I was kind of busy, err, being married today. Sushi had to go out this evening and I went to a program just a few minutes from my house.

Hope you met up and enjoyed; I'm looking forward to the report and the pics

Well, I was just reminiscing over my trip to Chennai, am yearning for a return but no such luck! Though I can't complain, I am "nearly" making it there for the honeymoon (i.e. 2 weeks in the Maldives

So, do you have wedding pics to post? How's the music study going?

Beebah is in town: he and I met for lunch yesterday, then spent some musical time with our morsings (jews harps) before meeting up with Mrs Nick for a great concert in the evening. He is only here for a day or two but hopefuly we'll meet again before he leaves.

actually I leave very early morning of March 31. The only good day for me is March 30, as I am traveling around TN starting this Monday night. And Nick-H might not be back from England by that time, so who knows.....
