Never been to 10DS, wanted to check it out !

This is what I read about 10DS, any comments on the below comment ?

like the quaint English ambiance in this place.....they come up with queer offers..once they gave a discount percentage equal to the oldest guy occupying the table...so if you have a a 60 yr old dude with u then you get a discount of 60%!!! ..stags in 10 Downing Street are treated like dirt on ladies nd couples only nights....drinks are on the pricier side, food is average..

I only saw pics, but I didn't spot anything "quaint English" about the place. There doesn't seem to be any attempt at all at any design theme that would link it to the British building after which it is named. They might as well have called it Buckingham Palace.

Folks-anyone tried Cedars? I'm a die-hard Mediterranean cuisine fan so I'm hopin' and a prayin' I'll hear good reviews from you people before I venture to try it out over the Diwali weekend.

Just a few weeks in Chennai and I've already become cautious about what is considered good cuisine here. Sigh.

Cedars is pretty good. I'd recommend the platter which costs roughly 450 with taxes. A very good spread with falafels, hummus, pita bread etc and quite good too

Sushi generally doesn't do weekends, but also tends not to come to these events anyway.

Any day is good for me, and I do almost anything apart from the boozy events and those that require me to make a major change in my daily dress habits

Sorry to barge in, but the food @ Cedars was not the best. I did find it a little too bland, and some of the portions were a little less

And for 10DS, ensure that there are ladies in your group, otherwise you wont be let in !!
