| thejags view: philippines or pune... i am going to have fun.... and work hard when ive had enough fun... Well i did meetup.... old friends from school... while one is a local the other landed here for a vacation from singapore (we were fortunate to meet today, were both leaving within hours of each other at the end of the week)... and met another old friend who used to run the icecream shop outside our school.... and got treated to free ice creams at his new shop.... and Coffee at the coffee shop above his shop... and made a new friend at the coffee shop.... all in all a nice evening... sorry for boring you all to death though.... |

| Jag... unlikely I'll see you now, but don't desert the site, and let us know when you visiting home again. All the best for your trip and your new job; let us know how it goes. I'm as deaf as a post just now, due to combination of wax and drops to dissolve it. Likely to stay that way until Monday, so concerts or socialising are rather out for me this weekend. I cannot hear my wife unless she speaks right into my ear. (which is probably slightly less deaf than a post, which would not be able to hear even that) |

| i will still be on the site but after i get settled in and get a broadband connection though.... with my salary at the same level as when i was in mumbai and airfares standing at more than a third of that salary and trains leaving me time enough at home to only catch a breath before returning back.... im afraid i am stuck in pune unless a miracle occurs  and the process is only just being transitioned to pune. it will be a while before the hiring slows down then some more time before the pressure eases enough to allow me to take a leave... and travel by train... |

I think we're planning to return to Mylapore next weekend for Dosa's, but I wouldn't mind sampling some different cuisine before then (suddenly my time's running out - so I've gotto get eating - especially if I really am to be the only person to visit India and come away fatter!!  )I heard that this place was good (but in a post 2 years ago!!) and wondered if anyone fancied trying it on Weds or Thursday evening?  |   Hi FolksI am on the upper side of the 60s and if I want to go out I have to do a lot of planning like arranging for a driver etc and nowadays I do not log into the site often.I will be happy if some Chennai member can send mea e,mail.I will be very gratefull if some one living near Tiruvanmiyur can pick me up. I DO WANT TO ATTEND ONE OF THE MEETS |
