Bangalore Meetups

Hm. Plans changing as we speak.

It turns out there are a few of you who can only really make it on Sat. night. It's really no problem to ask my host to stay another night; what concerns me is there's no way the person is gonna tell me no. Tricky, isn't it. (The person is the warmest you might wish for btw. All the more reason to not outstay though.)

But so I'll see. Will check back in here later with finalized plans. That could mean only late tonight or tomorrow morning though; I'll just be at Ulhas tonight 20:00 as planned then, and see whoever does or doesn't show up, OK.

ps I think there's a train leaving at 22'ish. So if we could make it a late afternoon/early evening meet (tomorrow, so Saturday), that could be the best of all worlds.

It leaves from Bangalore City; would MG Road be convenient for that? --> Checking map: Not fantastic perhaps, but very much doable I'd think.

Swift update: The place is called Ullas btw, I'm right next to it now. I'll hang out there till 20:30 or so, I'll be just fine enjoying myself alone if no one shows up (and going by great non-response so far), seems like a nice area to hang out.

My host contacted me to say, nay, demand, that I stay till Sunday. So I'll be fine for meets all day tomorrow. Meeting up with my trains couple at 14:00, other than that, I'm fine.

Gautam, early mornings no good for me. Otherwise, OK

ps I'll see if I can hunt down an extra memory card for my cam here. So could be 15 mins. late at Ullas.

Hello folks,

Sorry for getting you started on a meet, then ducking out myself. I had occasion to leave BLR sooner than expected; am now in a place called Tirupur, in Tamil Nadu, and sort of halfway to Cochin. Will leave to there tomorrow early morning; don't know arrival time.

Again: Sorry! Things just conspired this way. Pity if y'all didn't meet without me all the same. Hope to be back some day; Bangalore as such didn't go down badly on me, at all. Despite what one hears, I found it yet another quite enjoyable city.

Bangalore meetups are like this only Mach, silent, quiet, low-response..dont blame this on everyone as i too am part of bangalore and not an active participant, just accepting the facts.

Maybe we should have more meetups here in bangalore

Mach, had planned few things during meetups

but no issues..maybe later in 2010

I am arriving in Bangalore on Sunday,26th April,2009 by 2430 Rajadhani Express; and I will be taking 2786 SBC-KCG Express on the evening of Monday,27th April,2009 (B1 or B2) Coach, which will be 6th or 7th from rear.

Any spot within Bangalore City Station premises and between 16.00hrs.>>18.00 hrs. on Monday, 27th April,2009 is fine with me. My train departs at 18.25 hrs.
