Usha turned out to be a sweetheart in real life too. She got me chocolates!

And i found out that Sudheer does not have pet elephants in his ancestral home. (He had showed me pics to that effect in our last meet!) Anyway, back to Usha, I hope i am half as dynamic as her in 10 years time. We had a lovely buffet lunch at Rumali with a View on Indiranagar 100 ft. Rd. Nice place. And the pipe music was gazals. haven't heard that in a long time. We had a good time chatting and swapping stories of travel, other forums, other IMers, respective husbands, our love of music and dance, just about everything. It was really nice meeting her. Only wish i didn't have to go back to work after that.

If only I knew you took it serious, I would have conspired with usha to pull it along. Its an old joke about people from India going to US and saying that we have elephants at home

Hi all<
Since the time i was hearing about bangalore IM meetups i have been wanting to meet all active Im members from bangalore. I have been hearing lot about the bubbly Natasha from sudheer. Now i think sudheer told me very less about her. I found her very intresting and more bybbly ( than sudheer told me).
The day i reached bangalore i called her up and given her a surprise ( was it surprise for u Nat? or?). After that we have been contacting sudheer for arranging for the meet up. Monday he was busy with his work, so we decided to meet on tuesday. Tuesday morning sudheer fell ill with cold and cough and wat not , thanks to over working on the previous day. Anyway me and Natasha decided we will meet on tuesday, since the next day i was flying back to the God's own country. Tuesday morning i was making a circle of calls first to sudheer -natasha -sudheer-natasha.........it went on finally Natasha called me up and told me abt the venue at Indranagar, 100 feet road and Roomali with a view. I told her i will reach the venue on time 1 pm sharp as if i know the entire bangalore by heart

. Anyway i didnt wanted to take a chance of reaching late and missing her so i have reached the place by 12.30 [(i thought it mgt take 1 hour from HSR layout to the Venue).

it took only 30 min. hehhehe

].
I had a small walk in front of that fab mall. Sharp at 1 pm Nat came and there was no difficulty in recognising each other though both us were meeting for the first time. We have started our talk ..which continued till we both said bye bye. Felt sad we had to make a move, she to her office i to the Big Bazar at Koramangala.
Natasha it was a great time we had together i am going to cherish it always in my life.
Sudheer, we had missed u very badly. After meeting few IM members wat i felt is that, we dont have any strangers in IM only friends whom we never met before.

In my next visit (april) i mgt meet more friends from Bangalore IM.

Kemmanagundi is in West Karnataka, Chikmangalur.
a beautiful, rarely frequented hillstation.

The earliest that I can think of is 23rd or 24th of April. Either day is equally ok, but I have 30% chance of travelling that weekend. In which case, I would be disappearing till early june.

Btw, where is phantom - went back to the woods ?

Hi natasha, sudheer & all IM members , who are in bangalore as well as who are passing thru bangalore.

Well l have reached bangalore on 12th. Had a great drive from Trivandrum.
Stayed at Cascade a holiday resort plus a home away from home (19th Kilometer Baneergatta road.).
Tommorow i am driving back to Kerala.
Nat and sudheer i have been trying to contact u people thru mobile. Thanks to our funtastic Indian mobile services i was not able to contact.
Today again i will try.

LOL .. no sudheer... i m here only.. jes stuck up with some 'heavy duty' work for the last few weeks.. Would love to catch up with u guys

I am now in Bangalore too. Arrived last night.

Would be keen to be at the meetup. I take it a date has quite ben resolved just yet.

I am usually unavailable on the weekends since I am gallavanting around the countryside (and going to Sri Lanka over Mayday weekend), but would be very happy to have a meetup on a weekday.

Not on mobile just yet, will have to sort that out again.
