Dont count me in just as yet. I am packed during the week till late into the night (including parties), weekend is relatively clean for me but still no guarentees on that. However, you can expect me to pop up if I can atleast for a while and take a shot at who as ordered what

Had yet another interesting meetup in Bangalore. This time the venue was Casablanca an interesting coffee shop (where they serve beer too )

Natasha was the sweet host who arrived first and waited for the rest of the IM to arrive. Pooch walked in next and followed by phantom.. I was the late bird and came in real later. We had a good time with each going for an exotic drink with pooch settling for beer.

We started with the get introuduced to each other bit, followed by stories of other IM meetups and interesting anecdotes. As usual a whale of the time was spent discussiing the threads and posts in the IM. We raised a toast to Steven _ber for this 2000th post earlier in the day. Time flew by with pooch and his interesing stories, natasha and her jokes, phantom with his interesting perspectives and me well jabbering non stop through the while. (I am sure phantom saw the other side of me today ). We had a virtual member who joined us all the way from Delhi as Vinay verma called up and made his presence felt. Pooch infact had an extra beer for Vinay (I am sure, vinay is happy to hear this ).

It was quite interesting that pooch was initially skeptical about natasha (thanks to some postings in this thread), but was totally relieved to see how good a sport and chirpy a person she was in reality.

Natasha left by 9ish and we continued to more interesting topics as the lady in the group was no longer around We decided to move on to a more down to earth place for dinner and had a fair dinner at a roll place nearby. Finally we called it a day at 11.30ish and parted in good cheer as ever.

Nice summary sudheer ... and yeah finally u left your shyness behind...I guess, its time we should start taking count of the no. of meets.. so that we can celebrate some day, the 100th IM bangalore meet
Pooch's 'interesting' stories were hilarious ... and it was good to hear that Indian women too don't have a very good reputation around ..... !!!! The first time I saw a guy smoking from a cigerette in one hand and hookah in another !!!!
Vinay is always around in these meetups .. he's like moderator of meetings ... keeping tab of whatever's happening and that everybody is behaving properly or not
While we were leaving .. I noticed some foreigner getting fleeced by an autorickshaw driver .. I saw sudheer and he was also smiling ...just some steps forward.. pooch stopped a rickshaw and when asked for price the driver replied by asking for abt 5 times the amount he paid while coming.. !!! I then finally got into that rickshaw and ended up paying twice the amount that i had spent while coming .. but it was a paltry 50/- so I didn't complain
Anyways, nice meeting you pooch, I know that you have a lot more stories to tell us the next time we meet

Delhi is dead, all the IMers in Delhi are 'missing in action'. Good to see B'Lore taking over.
Sudheer, Nat and Pooch it was nice taking to you all. and this time I just got 5 SMS from Sudheer's mobile. Its improving and recognising regulars now.
Phantom: Last time when I was physically present in the B"lore IM meetup, we thought you are too shy to come out of the jungle..glad you are getting addicted..well, I've a bad reputation on IM(ask Nat and Pooch ), so I just barge in the IM meetups, even if its virtual.

The guys in question (earlier in the thread) complaining about my rapier tongue can take consolation in the fact that i have done as much damage to their reputation as i have to my own. I spent most of Saturday evening trying to convince Pooch that i wasn't a stuck up *****. Well, what can you say. It's a democratic country and everyone's entitled to their opinions. At least I can bank on Sudheer and Vinay to vote for me.
By the way, Casablanca turned out to be a great place. So we can appoint it as our official IM cafe get-together place!
raykoyyar, and Stormy sky, too bad we couldn't make it. We were expecting your call but you guys never called up.
