Bangalore Meetups

Hey all,

Anyday after 20th of Feb. I am going to Chennai, the weekend of 18th.
me in bangalore too, so, will make it for the IM Meet.

let me confirm what i understood.
You want to have a meetup after 20th Feb?

So how long will you be in Bangalore.

Out meet up yesterday was good. I am going to miss star crosser. she is such a sweet soul. regardless of the fact that her british sensibilities are forever outraged at my behaviour. (For example, hollering at waiters!) She wants me to go to England and try doing that at an English resturant. Well, anyone willing to sponsor and i can give it a shot.

Met up with Phantom and Spitze. i think they were a little shy since it was their first meet. Anyway, one has to be really assertive to get anything heard between me and Sudheer taking pot shots at each other.
By the way, anyone, what does Spitze mean in German?
Feelng lazy to write about all that we discussed. So i will wait for Sudheer to fill in with the meet up update.

Well my update is limited to the fact that I went to work after the meetup and reached home by 4.30 and still sleepy. So this would again be a long delayed update when I come back from Kerala

Ok till the time Sudheer returns, lemme fill up a few things.
7 pm I started frm home, natasha gave me some direction on how to reach there .. somehow reached there on time at 8 pm. Found Natasha, Sudheer and StarC already there.. Since I havn't met anyone then so I jes stood outside the restaurant and was not able do decide whether to go in and ask or jes wait.. coz I thought that I will be the first one to arrive (on time ya know

), then got that brilliant idea n called up natasha... but she was busy chattering and didn't even realize that the phone is ringing, after 4 tries, I gave up but still couldn't make sure that these are the ppl i m looking for. Then went to the manager's desk and asked if there are any reservations by the name of natasha.. none.. came back and finally decided to go and ask them... natasha as i thought turned out to be very sweet .. so did starC. Sudheer dissappointed a lil bit as he didn't talk that much as he promised in this thread earlier. Maybe he was thinking abt getting back to work or maybe because natasha an starC were troubling him a lot.. he was even entitled the official garb.... errr. .... finisher..

and I was thanking god that I am not in his shoes

Then entered spitze_udz and focus shifted on him a lil bit.
Well we finished dinner and despite tall claims by natasha and starC, Sudheer beat them all by eating more

.. we finally came out, natasha's sweet hubby had joined us, we bid adeu to them and then 4 of us (me,sudhi, udz, starC) went for some dessert at cornerhouse... in between vinay called .. we finished it then udz dropped sudhi, me and starC one by one.. and so it ended.
See natasha.. not that tough to write this much..

Sorry for the delay....hope you all had a great evening on Thursday, looks like I killed Sudheer's Cellphone..I couldn't get through to it later and I didn't have anybody else's number. Sudheer (or his cellular service provider) took sort of revenge with bombarding me with same SMS sent every 30mins for next 24 hours..even during nite.
So as asked (threatened !!!) by Natasha, I'm not going to post the '2nd photo' so here is the 1st one.

Hi Vinay,
When u get an sms from Sudheer we can expect that SMS all day. So by experience after reading Sudheer's first SMS i keep my mobile off for 4 hours.

When his sms comes in the ngt better u switch off ur mobile or put it in the silent mode other wise u will end up having a sleepless ngt..

hey, Spitze, looks like i didn't miss much. And from what I hear, no one is missing you, either, after you bid a rather reluctant farewell to StarCrosser.

And, Kiran Gujjar, unfortunately we decided not to miss you at all even without meeting you a single time. Apparently, you left quiet an impression on the ladies you spoke to on the phone!

However, both of you will be happy to know that you will not be missing in our conversations whenever we decide to meet up next. That should certainly satiate your thirst for popularity, what say?

On that stoic note and a silent prayer of thanks to God for also making gentlemen like Sudheer and Vinay Verma... Goodnight, all.
