Time to put that 'Meet Up Mirror' in the storage for a while....

Khak, of the Useful Telugu Words fame is in ATL and we plan to meet at a favorite Andhra restaurant:

Minerva Indian Cuisine
4305 State Bridge Rd
Alpharetta, GA 30022
Phone: (678) 566-7444
http://www.minervacuisine.com/

We will be there and trying to drag along someone who went to to college in West Bengal (but is from AP) along with his family (all non members, except me and Khak).

Should be good. Anyone else want to change their flight plans/paths?

Don't you get bored going to IST all the time?

Anyways, sorry to hear you can't make it this time. Let me know when you are around here next time, if you miss IST too much we could meet at Cafe Istanbul.

The first ever Atlanta Meetup went off as planned.

Minus the beer/whisky/feni etc. of Delhi meetups..but who knows that may be corrected sometime soon.

We picked up Khak from where he is staying, pretty close to the restaurant and while giving him a sample of my unique driving abilities we reched Minerva all in one piece shortly after 12 noon.

Minerva was crowded as usual with around 30 items on the buffet tables, featuring Haleem and Mutton Biryani. Apparently the chef was aware of Khak's Bengali origins and had included potatoes in the Biryani.

After general chat about India, online life on IM, we dropped off Khak around 2:30pm. Khak said thad that he would be coming back to ATL a few more times so we tentatively planned a Middle Georgia meetup the next time he's here.

We may even meet again before he goes back to India...

Hi luv2go, sorry we missed you this time!

I certainly hope there will be more ATL Meetups!

Are you in GA? North? South? I'm only an hour or so south of ATL so we can definitely plan a meetup anytime.

And here I thought you would take them to famous BBQ pits on ATL-Macon highway. Come on when in Rome ..you know how that goes.

When he said they had fried chicken, I wondered whether it was Southern Fried Chicken.
