The thought had struck me when I wrote it down.I only wish; more likely like those shoarma (or tandoori, indeed) pizza's you get now ![]() They do tasty-looking omelettes as well btw from the looks of it ![]()

Wow, there's an Indian-Dutch place in Utrecht? I wish I had known that last December! We literally starved in Utrecht, couldn't find a place to eat supper, especially since the places we liked were all full... I love Utrecht though.
Have fun guys! |

With the exception of Indonesian Rice Table Dutch Fusion Cooking has a tendency to aim in the right direction, bu8t miss the target.
And most of times everything tastes like powdered soup and MSG.... Still there are some nice restaurants around here... Hans

We saw some really nice places but they were all full
Didn't see any fusion places though. I can't remember whether this was in Utrecht or Haarlem but once we had to eat at a doner place in the train station... It was ok, and we were just too hungry to complain, and didn't want to wait until we got back to Amsterdam. |

Yaay!

Mach - thanks for putting the timetable down in black and white for all of us. Makes things really easy for people like me who need things written down in such a format. ![]() See you all in a fortnight! Hazel |

The museum closes at 1700, so if we want to go there, we should go a bit earlier....

Hm, yes, how do we go about this. I reckon and going by earlier meets, two hours in cafe we'll barely be past introductions really. We all seem to have plenty interesting stories to swap, and it tends to be like meeting old friends even if we may have never met (and some I have by now).
Skip museum? Or -- I'd been thinking 16-19:00 ain't long for seeing anything anyway. (And just strolling around Utrecht some I wouldn't mind, although this could be done by dusk after dinner as well, for those who are still up to it then.) Should we "pre-pone" it to 13:00, then pack up at around 15:00? It's fine by me, don't know about the others. If we then do museum & boat, we should easily make it for 19:00 at our leisure, with the opportunity to walk around some perhaps. It looks like so far it will be Haze & you (Hans) guys & me in the (earlier) afternoon anyway, I don't know what time Zoeperman plans to show up. I suggest to plan the boat so that Mirjam can come along, if it's her thing of course, that is. |

Heheh, you mean you are, or I am?
I'm mostly for sitting down & seeing what transpires. So anyway, 14:00 it is then! We can pack up any time we like of course. Hell, you might still find us at that same spot at 03:00 anyway ![]() |

I just heard that my husband is coming on the 14th, in the morning. I told him abt the meetup and the beautiful city of Utrecht as an extra bounty
He said he'd like to come if he's not too tired. So I'll let you all know later what we do... I would love to come though, so I'll do my best in convincing him ![]() |
