2007 IM's New Year Bash !!

Don't be Surprised, its still six months away.

But is it possible to organise an event in some place like Goa OR Varkala, where any IM member would be welcome.

It can be a week long event starting around Christmas and ending after New year. 6-7 Days of non stop fun with other IMers.

We can have a lot of Interaction, experience sharings, music, beer, chai and Gup shup..

All the members who want to come in should inform 45-60 days in advance and suitable accomodations can be booked (like an entire cottage complex OR Budget hotel), rest everything can be taken care on the spot..

I understand that its easier said than done, but still I would like to know your views first, most important being, is it feasible OR not and what kind of problems will we face.

Let me give the first problem, we would need to collect money first from all interested members, so that suitable accomodations can be booked, now how are we supposed to do that ?

Interesting idea, but don't you think there will too much of crowd everywhere.

very valid point..but that is the reason I profess booking of an complete cottage complex OR hotel..

Going by statistics displayed on the main page, if even 10% of IMers come together the head count will be nothing less than 1982...Phew... I am already lost in the crowd. Shashank, you really got to plan big, albeit a little difficult but not impossible!!

lolz..thats scary, but I assume that a figure of 30 - 80 members would be fine..if we exceed the number then we can have 'first come, first serve' logic..

There are lot of IMPosters in Goa for the new years eve, let us see who all are willing to hook up..??
