Zanskar and ladakh on maruti Swift--- people looking for group formation can join us

We are two guys taking maruti swift to the following places.. we are looking to expand our group to make trip more happening and secure..
Those who are either travelling solo or in small groups on their own vehicle can join us..
We would not mind bike riders joining us..

Day6- Around zanskar valley
Day7- Padum-sankoo( 243 km—Long Ride)
Day8- Sankoo-42-kargil—40—mulbek(Namkila-40-fotula)—30—lamayuru—125—Leh
Day9- Leh—40—Khardugla—58—khalsar-20-Diskit—8-Hunder
Day10- Around Leh—Good Food--- Permits
Day11- Hunder—28- Khalasr—40—Sumur—20—Panamik—60-Khalasar
Day12- Khalsar-31-Agam-39-warila pass-29-shakti-30-changla pass- 58—tangste—32—pangong tso { 219 km Ride in all)
Day13- Spangmik—100—Karo—15-upshi—95—chmathang

A maruti swift will not make it to Padum ... even large vehicles like Sumo and Scorpio have a tough time.
I'd not recommend it especially if you own the Swift :-)

i had a telephonic conversation with narender ( guy famous for his solo scooter to zansker and ladakh) and he said its completely ok to take swift if it is driven slowly and patiently..
i am banking on his courageous words and keeping my fingers crossed..
will definitely share my experience..

A scooter is different since you can weave around the holes etc ... In my opinion, the swift is too low make it through the road.

It is one of the most scenic routes and a fab place to ride/drive. But I'd highly recommend looking at other vehicle options. All your efforts will go for a toss if it gets stuck midway ... It could ruin your plans ... Just my 2 cents ... Hopefully other mikers will respond to this post ...
