Travelling alone in north india nov-dec 2009

Alia, don't know if you're still watching the thread (I'm a new member so I can't send a PM), but I have similar travel plans and dates. I'll be in Delhi Nov 13th and I have to be in Pune by Nov 20th, maybe we could meet up for part of the time. -Jason

Hey Alia,

As Jason mentioned above, I hav my doubts if you are still watching this thread. But I guess you should try Igatpuri for meditation rather than rishikesh. Visit http://www.vridhamma.org/Home.aspx, it a beautiful centre with organised meditation program.

I'll be travelling to India mid November to the end of December. It's my first time to India and will be doing part of it solo so would be good to make contact with some travellers now in order to meet up once I get there. I'm also thinking of going to Rishikesh to do yoga and meditation but for about two weeks. Have you found an ashram there yet?

Hello, This is a psychiatrist from Canada. I am of Indian origin and may be you will consider me a "local boy". I am on a visit to India for the last few months and was stuck to my home in Delhi and relatives in Punjab. Before leaving for India I had thought of traveling to the parts of India I have never been to. I would like to travel to all the 4 corners of India which I have never been to. The program is very flexible and I am very accommodating. If you like please reply.
