Hey, I am visiting madikeri - coorg this week.. Anyone interested in traveling with me??

if interested please mail me your plans.. I will reach mercara/madikeri on wednesday (02/08/06). booked a hotel. Plan to see coorg in 10 days that is available for me.

I like rains... So I think it will be okay for me at coorg...

But do you think most places will have a fireplace and coffee machine??

maybe not coffee mashines but fireplace is sure since it is raining u have to inform them in advance

I was in coorg for 3 days during july last n 3 weeks in december.. u can do all the sight seeing n coffee plantation stay n trek since u have 10 days.

break da sight seeing in 3 days so that u can take it slow n enjoy it.

day 1 -

dubare forest elephant cam, nisargadama,hirangi dam, kushal nagar tibiten goden temple (u can stay in kushal nagar a day or 2 if u wish)
this trip can be done from madikeri by bus to kushalnagar n take an auto from kushal nagar as all the places are close by.U could also rent a car n take a guide.

day 2. bagamadala n tala cavery

most buses go only till bagamadala..very few to tala cavery

3. nagerhole-kutta-irupu falls

it will take 1 full day as its 85-100 kms south of madikeri. kutta a really small town on the border with kerala .here u have the option of goin to nagerhole national part or tolpetty scanctuary across da border in kerala.dont be sure to see too many animals but still give it a shot..
irupu falls is beatuful ..

then there are other trekking, sightseeing , plantations visit options in n around madikeri.
