Maxx, our members come from all over the world, and we can live with some bad spelling Welcome to the site!

Publishing your email address on an internet forum will lead to lots of spam: we advise against it. Have disguised it a little to help protect you.

Thanks

So thanks at first for the replays.
To Activator: I think Goa is to expensive for me, I am only a student. And Goa is also not my favorite aim, I want to see culture and not the mega cities. When someone have the opportunity to live for some weeks in a village, far away from every civilization... This is my dream. And then someone want to travel with me through THIS India, when he is right at my site.
strong words
I hope on answer

maxx, If you are traveling on a budget you should be able to find cheap dorm accomodation at the youth hostels in many places including goa. you could get more info from their office in delhi too. happy traveling.

if it's rural india, small villages and culture that you want to experience why don't you have a look at this?

http://www.ivcs.org.uk/

I was with them 4 years ago (my first time in India) and I really enjoyed my stay. It's a faily tipical indian village (well, a part of the project that is there!). Check out when the group from U.K. is going and try to avoid that period. When I went there I was the only westener and since I was on my own the people was less afraid to come and meet me.
Contact them beforehand, though.
