Travel/trekking buddies april - august

Easy going, 25 year old male, outdoor enthusiast and forestry worker. This is my second trip to India.

I aspire to do much trekking but also lots of kicking back and relaxing while absorbing some culture.

I will be in the following regions at roughly these times.

April - Sikkim, (NE regions? - arunachal, nagaland, assam)
May-June - Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh
July-August - Ladakh

Looking for like minded trekkers and travel partners from april through august. Gender and age are fairly unimportant, but honesty and enthusiasm are.

Planning on doing Goecha La trek in sikkim and some other walks in the region. Possibly some treks around lahual, spiti, chamba, zanskar and ladakh.

What exactly does "trekking" entail?

Do you plan to camp out at night? Will you only be walking? Give me some details. I may be interested in joining you at some point, as I will be available in May.

My brother is coming from us ,,in april for a vacation ,,probably we too can join .that time.am comfortable with sikkim .

I'll be around the area in July...infact I was planning Pindari/Milan Glacier trek around that time but if the times match i will me interested in ladakh. i am 22 yrs old....trekking enthusiast...tee-totaller post grad student.

hey sikkim is not safe to go i heard cause of internalpolitical issues
we are game for Leh ladhak .
wht say u ,,come up with any otheridea or place u can think off

I am native from garhwal (working in Hyderabad) and have done quite a few treks in himalayas. I am planning to be in himanchal/ladakh in June (3 weeks atmost). Do you have any specific treks in mind during this period?
