Travel partners for early Dec 2009/ Jan 2010

Hi All,

I am planning a trip during the month of Dec this year. I will be free from other commitments only by the end of first week of Dec, after which I plan to travel till around 24th Dec. I am open to extend it further to the end of month in case of really interesting options.

I have not yet decided on a destination or on the mode of travel. However, I have decided to keep South India out of consideration. I am most interested in colder destinations - Himachal/ Sikkim/ Bhutan etc. Rajasthan is also in consideration in case I get good company. With respect to the mode of travel, my first preference is to do a bike trip. That might not be possible in Dec for Northern areas. I am open to other modes of travel but would like to avoid costly flights at this time.

I also plan to travel in January, after around 10th up to the end of month. However, this plan is not yet confirm.

i'm not free during 5-20th december. i'm planning my trip from 21st december. i have booked my tickets for 21st to NJP from hyderabad. i can't change my schedule due to job constraints.
