Travel Partner wanted - Starting in Delhi in Spetember, travelling for 5 months

Hi Sluggmail, seems like you and I are after a very simliar experience. I'd like to find a quiet place to settle for a while and work on my music, practice yoga, basically chill out to the max. Of course I'd like a little adventure here and there also, but I've got 11 months so no rush. So yeah, it'd be great to meet up. Of course your plans may change and so might mine but let's keep in touch all the same and see how it goes. I'm so encouraged by this site. I've found several potential travel companions in only a short time - I imagine when we actually get to India, we'll just bump in to them everywhere!! it's all good. Happy to have made contact. Mark

Sounds great Mark! Would love to stay in touch... I will be staying at an ashram in Rishikesh through Oct 17th. That much I know. I will be picking up lots of information along the way during the beginning part of my journey with this group (of yogis from the states) which will no doubt give me some direction. So, yes, lets stay in touch.... Kris

Hi Sluggmail, I'll write again when I've been there for a week or two, or if you think of anything else feel free to contact me. Rishikesh in October is certainly a very workable possibility for me - I'm quite in to the idea of an Ashram stay myself but don't know that much about it. What's their stance on guitars? ;-)

hey razorpig, sorry for the delay... sounds like a plan. not sure what the ashram stance is on guitars (would like to think its cool). I'll let you know if I find out. Another idea is to head to Dharamsala as the Dalai Lama is giving teachings on The Four Noble Truths from October 20 to 22. I will have already been there before Rishikesh so Ill know more about how to get there and how long it takes and places to stay etc. But lets stay in contact fore sure! be well... slugg
