Travel partner(s) needed 4 people needed for Ladakh!

well, for my male comrades who are interested in this trip, please let me know. I want to visit higher Himalayas, but I want it to do it by road. I have a seasoned and well maintained Maruti Esteem.

Need 2-3 mates for the trip, i.e. either 3 or 4 people in the car (Including me).

Dates can be mutually worked out. If someone has a car which is diesel driven or an SUV/MUV then it can be also used.

Have you posted the details somewhere on IndiaMike?

I do not have a car and I do not know how to drive. I hope knowing how to drive is not a criteria.

i am a first time traveler . i mean i have never ventured outside chennai. can you believe it? i am 26 and haven really stepped out.

now , i wanna.

wanna go to ladhak and stay for a week or 2 . would love to have to join someone if they are planning a trip this year.

Vikas, if you want to join with a bunch of people, then you have to follow the plan they make, I am assuming that on the kind of trip we are planning, its not about staying somewhere for long time. This trip would me more like a driving expedition, spending maximum time o the road and enjoying the beauty of nature from its lap.

I am very much interested in doing this trip and you know I can drive and have Accent Viva CRDI, but I am not sure if I will have the vechile till June / July as I am planning to take it back to Bangalore.

Did you get a chance to fix the dates ? I can manage to get 10-12 days off for this trip....

Let's plan seriously....

Will be travelling to Ladkah & Zanskar around 15th Aug. We will be taking a Mahindra Scorpio. Anyone who is interested (3-4) can pm me for the details and the costs involved. We prefer Guys as it entails less responsibilities but in case a group of ladies wanna make this trip they are more than welcome and we would modify the arrangements accordingly.
