Travel partner needed Northern India August/September 2009

Hello,

I'm a 25 year old woman and am looking for men or woman to meet up an travel with in India in August/September next year. I would like to cover quite alot of ground whilst there but on a budget. I'm rather nervous about travelling alone on the train and would love to hear from anyone who will be there at the same time and might want to travel with me.

I know extensively, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujrath, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Darjeeling and Bhutan region as I have travelled extensively these regions. Are you from Rishikesh, I'm planning for a trip there from 1 Jan to 5 Jan'09.

Can you suggest me some places to see there, as such I am looking for some Yoga and Ayurvedic Therapy Institutes for learning.

For Yoga and Aurvedic Therapy try Kaivalyadham Insitute in Lonavala, Maharashtra. It is 2 hour drive from Mumbai or Pune. Lonavala is best place in this season.

hi there, this thread sounds interesting...just wanted to put my two cents in - just make sure to buy a big hat!

you guys - if there will be many of you could make a movie - bit like darjeeling unlimited, and call it 'lady with hat in india'
