hey,
i will arrive in mumbai on 2. November. For me its the first time in india and the first time Iam travelling alone My plan was to stay for around a week in Mumbai and then make a decicion where to go. Maybe at first to the south (Kerale, Goa etc.) or the North (Rajasthan). Right now i have no idea. So if you like we could meet there for a tea and just see what happends It would be nice to have someone who would like to show me some interestings sights or things of the city! greets |

the andamans are amazing. that time of year is peak season. to catch it without too much of a crowd and while prices are still low, early dec is best. i'd visited with a bunch of european and canadian friends who unanimously declared that if people back home had enough of a clue about the andaman islands, they wouldn't bother with the rest of india until after they were done with these. havelock island (and neil, if you like it even quieter) are a must-do, but i'd say get in some time around port blair, wandoor, as well as taking the northern trunk road and hopping the bus ferries up to rangat and so on.
and you can get a ride in a chopper too! |
