Travel Companion for Himachal Pradesh and possibly Ladakh

hey everyone

i'm a filmmaker and anthropologist from NYC, who've been living in India (mostly Dharamsala) for the last five months, doing graduate research. i'm currently in Kathmandu, heading to Delhi tomorrow. afterwards, i want to head north, eventually coming back to Dharamsala, but i would like to see the rest of Himachal Pradesh, especially Spiti and/or Kullu Valleys, and maybe Ladakh. i'm thinking of getting to Shimla or Manali and then hiring a car with a driver to take me around Spiti. i'm not much into trekking, just want to enjoy the landscape and see the monasteries (Tabo, Kaza and maybe some others). looking for someone who might be interested in roughly the same itinerary.

Long time its my desire to visit Himachal && Ladakh if possible.
It would more convenient if travel plans by mid August.
