Travel buddy for June

Hi all,
I'm going to be volunteering in Himachal Pradesh this summer from May 10th to June 7th, when I will be dropped off in Delhi. I'd like to stick around in India for up to another week or so and hopefully travel to Rajastan.(I will have already been to the Himalayas, Agra and Amritsar by this point.)I'm open to other trip ideas, though, and it would be great to have a travel companion or two. I would like to spend a night or two in Jaipur at the Pearl Palace (I've heard good things), and will probably do so even if I'm on my own, but I think it would be great to head to Jaisalmer if I have company. Alternately, any other trips that are do-able from Delhi would be considered.
And, yes, I know that Rajastan will be ridiculously hot, but I'm not sure where would be better (other than the Himalayan region which is where I'll be spending the bulk of my trip).
In case anyone is interested and available between the 8th and 15th of June, I'm a 25-year old Canadian student who gets along with almost anyone.

hey welcome to india mike. after reading your thread i would like to suggest not to go to rajasthan in summer.as it will be too hot for you. well if you are interested i can suggest you other places like khajuraho,banaras,puri or goa where i can acompany you where it will be pleasant climate as well very much interesting for you as a canadian.
