Spiti Valley - The Land Beyond
 Hi everyone... Am keen on doing the Spiti Valley stretch from Shimla to Manali (or the other way around) starting around 13th/14th July. The stretch will include Tabo and Kaza, the Ki Monastery and Kunzum La. Have usually travelled alone but have almost always met up with like-minded solo-travellers. Been to Heaven, I mean Ladakh last summer. And been to 11 of the 13 districts of Uttarakhand - including treks to Pindari glacier, Valley of Flowers (twice), Hemkund Sahib, Dodital, Kedarnath, Yamunotri et all.  I just can't do without the Himalayas for more than a few months at a stretch...! Anyone interested in joining me or rather letting me join him / her... just for company sake...??!! cheers...!!!  au revoir...!!! |

well, i did go to spiti valley... and just for a week... and yes, i did manage to find a travel-mate... and no, not through this site... but an old friend who i'd originally met near the valley of flowers - a spanish lady...! cheers...! |
