South India March '09

Anyone traveling to the south in March? I am looking at a rough 18 day itinerary running from Chennai, Mahabalipuram, Trichy, Madurai, Periyar, Munnar, Kumarakom, Allapuzha, Cochin, Ooty, Mysore ending in Bangalore.

I have traveled the North several times, looking to venture into the South but would prefer to have a partner. I enjoy the history, architecture and food side of traveling. I'm pretty quiet, clean, respectful and punctual...would prefer around my age (33) or older male or female. Oh, definitely going the budget to mid range way, no 5 stars.
