Why is it guaranteed fun?
-I am an Indian 28 yr old male, US Born and Raised Indian Graduate student that is laid back and open to trying new sports/activities especially when traveling, I am laid back and easy going and would love to travel together with others


Plans: White water rafting, kayaking, treking,maybe some light yoga, visiting some historic sites Photography...open to other things

That does sound fun. How safe is the rafting in Rishikesh? Go overboard and your a goner?

Rafting is best at Rishikesh as far as India is concerned. Moreover it is on the Ganges river. Some rapids may be slightly difficult grade but manageable. Other places one can swim alongside too (really gentle).

I have heard good things, but was wondering if I should be worried with the dates in mind as some of my family in India said there may be heavy rains and thus possability of too much water and landslides?

Sounds like you wilL have fun. My wife and I are going to Haridwar in October and will take the CHAR DHAM YATRA tour using a Skylark Adventure Tours. I have looked in the weather web site and it says that rainy season in between July and August. Double check this.
