Rich Maharaja Wanted

I hitched the world in 1971 and in Bali the King of Denpasser asked me to marry his son the Raja. I said no because I was 21 and he only 16 although we had fun chariot racing on Kuta Beach. Anyway in retrospect I wish I had. I am stuck with a miserable soul who doesnt love me ( aaahhhhh everyone) and I NOW want a stunning Maharaja to take me in hand. We stayed in the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur which cost an arm and a leg but I now have a taste for Palaces. SOmeone rescue me. (SLIGHTLY TONGUE IN CHEEK, Nevertheless we would like to be invited to tea with a Maharaja and see what their life style is really like. We may even write in it my ever ongoing book started way back in 1971. Jackie, blonde blue eyed under 60 but looking like 40. and wanting Indian of 35.HahA

Why not place an ad in the Maharaja Matrimonials/Match-ups section of the Indian Newspapers - don't know about the age thing and how that statistic increases or decreases your chances of 'robbing the royal cradle' ..... but it's definitely worth a go and you never know who will come a knocking.

is one place you could look at.

There is no facility of contacting the royals on the site, but you can contact the guy who maintains the site,or try googling up one of the last-listed names on the lineage list of some clan you would like to check up.

Most of them aren't so rich these days.

The royal family that I know a couple of members of may be far from paupers, and may, due to the current value of the property they own, have huge sums on paper, but the palace that I visited was hardly awash with jewells and luxury, and the gounds were rather neglected.

Dear Peak, What does what! mean? I am not purposely trying to wind anyone up-only my husband. I would of course like a marahara palace experience but it sounds like you are a bit annoyed with my answer by the face of the 'what'? other. Sorry if I have annoyed you and
I am not sure that I get the 'actually my response was a bit more slightly tongue in cheek' bit although looking again I see two pleasant balls of green cheering each other over a cup of hot chocolate or is it champagne and a nice little winking ball of yellow.LOL.So perhaps it is in my head that you are annoyed after all.Jackie

A Politicians would do perfectly AND a TV company. I would like to do a big splash in India when I arrive, having been there fOR 6 MONTHS in 1971 and last year and this year I see your untouchable scene is still on the go. I really have BIG PROBLEMS with 'untouchables'( it may not be the word you use nowadays but toilet cleaners are still treated the same as they always were back in 1971 I have noticed) cleaning toilets out and not being able to speak. I think Politicians should do it for a change and see how they like it. Cleaning toilets is okay, I do my own, however I dont expect to be ignored by everyoe afterwards.I have even heard of people being murdered of so called lower casts just because it has been found out that they own land, or at least it is what I read in papers. If you are a politician do something about it. This lower class is only lower because the upper push them down.

Its only a joke really. I am married (unfortunately already) but I am interested in India and its heritage and I would love to make a difference to the so called 'untouchables'-what is PC nowadays? I have heard awful stories of this 'lower' cast being murdered for their land. PERHAPS a 59 year old blonde with a loud mouth could help their plight. I used to believe in Karma but I think the 'uppers' are piling it on whilst the 'lowers' will be head of spiritual path.

No point of this thread really. At first a light hearted joke but it has made me want to help the lower casts 'untouchables' plight so maybe it will serve a purpose.

Yes I would like a cup of tea with a Maharaja then I would like him
AND a tv company (film divisions)to come with me for a cup of tea in a toilet cleaners house. They used to be called Untouchables although I do not know whether this is PC and do not know what they are classified as now if at all. Never the less on my last visit to India it was evident that they fear to speak and some have even been murdered in local villages for their land. What is going on. I used to be a secretary to the Theosopical Society which as its HQ in Adyar, MAdame Blavatsky, naughty woman, brought hashish and Karma over to Uk in 1875.Her teachings were that it was a persons Karma that he was an untouchable for being bad in his last life. Come on. We should all try to be free of the wheel of Karma and lift everyone up not push them down.

I hope you are aware of the ground reality yourself. I mean something other than the reports you read in Media, especially Western Media..
