Rajastan, Himalayas and beyond March to April 2006

Hi

I am looking for anyone who is goign to be in India from late March to early April 2006.

I booked a spur of the moment trip back in November and am now looking for any potential new friends to come along with me.

I arrive into Delhi on the 25th/26th of March and plan to go then to Agra and then around Rajasthan. Then head back to delhi and up to the foothills. I fly out from Delhi on the 15th April 2006.

So if anyone wants to meet up with me that would be cool.

Hey Gracie,

I booked a trip to India with a friend from the UK that I used to live with over there, I am from Australia. She has pulled out on me and now I am going on my own as I have all visas and ticket etc and leave on the 27th Feb for a couple of days in SL and then onto Mumbai to visist a friend. You are going to all the places that I plan to visit but a little later then me. Shame! I leave on the 7 April, however if you think you can bring your trip forward on the spur of the moment then let me know. I would much prefer to travel with a another girl for ease of sharing rooms and safety. Drop me a line if you are interested. I am easy going and love to have a good laugh. I am hoping to do a similar trip but a little earlier than you. My plan is Agra 28 th Feb - my birthday , Rajasthan then up to Shimla probably mid March and around Himachal Pradesh in April. I was then heading up to Kashmir for May. Maybe we will be in the same area early April?
Let me know if you have any more dates or plans.

Any-one else out there doing a similar schedule? I have been to India before but never on my own.. a few nerves setting in...

My dates for India are 25th Feb - 15th May at the moment...

Hi Sarah,

Gracie and I have been chatting alot in the last couple of days. I arrive on the 3 March in Mumbai and staying there a couple of days and moving on with a friend of mine who lives in India. Perhaps you could meet up with my mate and I prior to Graces arrival later in March.

Its not a nice thought to be on your own. Anyway drop us both a line

Great news that we will be in India at similar times - hope I can meet up with you both if possible Do you have any fixed plans of where you are heading after Mumbai Jules, or are you just going with the flow?

I keep seeing more places I would like to go but probably will just stick to a few of the northern states. Definately Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, Agra and Amritsar. I am also hoping to visit Rishikesh and do a yoga/meditation course later on in April. Towards the middle of May I am heading up to Srinigar. That's the current plan anyway!
