Need travel partner/(s) for Spiti Valley trip-AUG 2012

I am planning to visit Spiti valley, chandrataal during the first week of August 2012. I am planning to take a cab from Shimla and exit via Manali. Two of my friends are with me.

I am planning to start on 7th Aug and will be finishing the tour by 15-16th Aug.
I am planning to take a cab from shimla and finish it near manali.
If you plan via manali, then acclimatisation is a problem due to sudden change in altitudes.If we go via Shimla,then you wont face such problems.Thats what many recommend.

Accually i will be arriving manali through leh-tso moriri-tso kar-sarchu route...would have familiared with the high altitude then...since i will be in manali, it becomes my convenient starting point..

I am not sure. I have pulled in a good driver thru my friend for a very less price via shimla. Let me ask my friends about the change in route. Will get back to you.

I am starting on 8th Aug,2012-from Shimla;
9,10,11Aug-spiti valley;
12Aug -Chandrataal and Kunzum la;
13thAug- Reach Manali(dropoff)
Can you confirm me your plan?
