Oh no - when I saw you'd answered I hoped you might be able to join me. It would have been a pleasure.

Perhaps next February, when I'm due to travel to India again with my parents, will be a better time for you. I'll be sure to let you know.

Anyway, thanks for your answer. All the best for whatever you are into now that keeps you from travelling.

Take care,

Namaste Brownboy,

Yeah, I know, I've been altering my travel plans time and again to fit Delhi into the mix. You should see my Excel spreadsheet, looks like a military operation. (Yes, I confess I use spreadsheets to plan my travels what kind of a human being does that make me ? ) Alas, my schedule is packed stupid, so it's either Delhi or Ellora, and I just can't skip Ellora yet another time.

But I'm seriously considering going up north(ish) in Feb/March after I've toured Rajasthan with my parents. Considering a Jhansi / Khajurao / Kolkata route that would easily allow for Delhi. So, next time might not be too far ahead...

Not that I worry, but did you get my last PM ?

Take care,

ah...yes! That was the one about names, origins, travel schedule etc?? Not to worry - when you make it to Delhi we will still be here. Are you excited about the trip yet?

Excited ? The exact vocable is "panic mode", I think. It feels like my days last 2 hrs each. I am currently hating myself for putting together such a tight schedule. I feel SO unprepared, so much info I still need to collect, so much stuff to do here before I leave, and it's so difficult to get ANYTHING done here in Paris as we're having a major transportation strike, and... Then I take a deep breath and I picture myself in Hampi on my birthday and things just fall into place.
It might just be that I actually needed that break...
Take care,

at any minute Nick will drop into the thread and say something like "if you think you're panicking now - wait until the last 12 hours before boarding the plane".....just in case you weren't feeling stressed enough.....

now...visualise the happy place (hampi) while humming "happy birthday to me"......
