Hello,

I am Chetan Thakre and plan to discover the heaven of the earth (manali-leh-ladak-manali)on motorbike, the plans are for this July-Aug, did not finalise the dates still...I am planning the trip with my brother and using a Bajaj Avenger. Can anyone please let me know if the bike can be suitable or need to think on some other option. Also help on planning the trip would be apreciated.

Shyam I guess we can have a discussion as I am from Nasik and if all well we can enjoy the ride together.

Hi,

You can rent a bike from Manali itself, for this you wil have to book it in advance. They guys charge frm 450 - 700 per day. Bikes available are enfields and pulsar mostly.

The dates are changed a bit, now we r starting on June 13 for manali.

I am so sad, as this is the 2nd plan which will not work out. I planned to do this dream trip last year and due to some work commitments missed it. This year I am facing the same issue. The market situation is not favourable and I cannot resist the business decisions in my organization.
I know I cant make it again this year. Sorry guys who all gave all their valuable inpust in making me plan this trip. But I am hoping I will do it. soon .. some day.

I just hope i dont grow to old and too fat before i actually make this trip
