looking for trekking partners for the lamayuru-darcha-trek in august / september

Hi,

I´m looking for some people who would like to join me on the trek from lamayuru to darcha through the zanskar valley (about 19 days). I want to start the trek around the 25. august. I´m already in contact with a serious tour organizer in leh. The organizer also works for a wellknown travel business from austria.

Cheers...

Hello!

The budget depends on how many people we are. For one or two persons is nearly the same price. Because of that I expect, that we can get a good price, if there is a group with 4-8 people??!!

Hi lamayuruhu,

Myself Charan from Bangalore. I am planning for Lamayuru - Padum trek in the range of 8 - 10 days from 18th September (though not yet confirmed). i am sure that you can do this spending not more than Rupees 12,000/- per person (ex-lamayuru) if you put a bit more effort of finding a right guide/porters/cooks in Leh. If you are fine with this we can find lil more like minded guys and do this along. no need to bother on your travel till leh. i can guide you on it. not a big deal.

i presume from the info i have collected, during september (off-season and less no of tourist), we should be able to hire pony/guide/cook/gears for cheap.

Regards,
Charan

Hello Charan-
Yes, I also have moderate to low budget. Don't want to spend more than Rs. 1000 per day an average. I live in Mumbai. I am in my mid 30s. Timing is flexible. Count me in and keep me posted if your trip finalizes.

Thanks,
Sanjeev.
