looking for female travel partners august delhi-srinigar-leh trip

hi, i am a 35 year old female from the netherlands and looking for a travel partner to go up to Leh and do some trekking. also i would love to stay at an ashram in haridswar or rishikesh for a while. i m flexible , have all of august, flying in to delhi.

I'm also going to the north around this time and would like to do some treking. I'm 28, from the UK and going alone. I was planning on starting from varanasi then maybe working my way up towards uttarakhand. Rather than going up to Leh (because im flying into Mumbai on 2agust) But i am open to suggestions.
I am also planning on going to an ashram near ish to Haridwar maybe around the 16th for a week or so.

Let me know what you think about any of this.

And I fly into Dehli August 1st...

hi girls, ok, i m flying into delhi on the 3th. was thinking to stay there 2 nights and then OR go up to Amritsar , Srinagar, Kargil, Leh , Manali and end the trip with a week/10 days in Haridswar ashram. Flying out from Delhi on the 29th.
OR the other way around?

Not sure if I will go all the way up to Leh.. had my tentative plans to trek in Uttarkhand- Valley of the Flowers and then another trek nearby, maybe Kauri Pass.

I Fly into Dehli on August 1st, will take train to Hardiwar the 2nd and review my options then hopefully set out for the treks.

Will you fly to Leh or take a train?

Leh can only be approached by road or by air.

However, I'm not sure how to private message on this forum and it won't let you post email addresses so not sure how to get in touch. I'm on my way to airport now, will go from Delhi to hardiwar on Thursday and then hopefully begin trekking in uttarkhand soon thereafter.

I'll check this thread when I get to India.

im flying into Delhi now for 3rd aug. i abandoned Mumbai idea due to rain advice. So i'm still in. Was planning on getting to MANALI after a day or so in Delhi.
Maybe we can meet in Manali and then take a bus or car to Leh from there?
i was (loosely) planning on going up to Leh, and then working my way back down to Uttarakand region and then varanasi, eventually.

still open to suggestion....

wendenglow, if you have a good plan when you arrive, let me know. maybe we can meet somewhere and go trek together somewhere accessible from delhi.
