Leh Ladakh trip early August

Hi,

I am a 23 year old girl traveling India solo. I am done with south, and I am eager to explore the Himalayas - Leh-Ladakh and so on. I am looking forward to join a small group (or does anyone know of an organized trek and camp group/something?)starting by early August. I can afford a 15 days trip. My budget is not too high.

I am looking forward to start asap. Any help appreciated.

Thanks ton!

Hi all,

I need to be done with Himalayas by 20th August, since I leave India on the 1st week of September. I had a pretty hapazard trip, right now in Calcutta (my home city).. done with Delhi and Agra. Another option is to fly to Leh?

@ Natalie.. are you done with Benaras and Rishikesh? Those must be amazing.I would like to get in touch!

Cheers,

Preeti

Hi all,

Had scheduled my bus to Manali for tomorrow. Had to cancel all my plans to Leh after this flooding. Just stuck wondering where to go instead...It's so depressing

A friend and i will be biking to Manali tomorrow and from there head off to Chandrataal, which was our initial plan anyway.

Hi
If you're open on the weekend + 2 days from 21st-24th august (Actually departing on 20th august night) for Manali / Valley of flowers (though that might be a stretch) / another hill area - please let me know. I've posted another thread on the same yesterday. My dates are fixed (that's the time i can get off from work)and destination is open.
thanks

Hi Preeti,

Greetings for the day...!!!!

Spiti would be a great option.....however you need to check the weather condition...if its raining cats & dogs there, then the condition of the road would be same as of Manali Leh.....

You can however plan for recong peo,Kalpa, Sarahan.....

Regards

Hi Vinod
I dont intend to hijack this thread but do you think any of the places you've advised can be done in 21st-24th august timeframe? I would be traveling solo and intend to use public transport (if any volvo buses are available?)
thanks in advance
Vaibhav
