Kinnaur & Spiti: Anyone willing to join??

I am planning to leave for Spiti on my bike solo.

Well, to put it in other words, I am not exactly the guy with any plans. Adventure gets me high and I am open to everything which comes my way. I am an easy going person and get along with almost everybody. I have several solo trips as well as gone around with the most diverse set of people. And the more challenging it gets going, the more fun it is. A huge learning experience it has been in the past and looking forward to meet more and more travelers and like minded people.

And yeah, just forgot to mention, I go places to experience everything first hand. I stay in the most basic accommodations, experience and get involved in the local cultures and meet locals wherever I go. Never made a luxurious trip, I am more of a hardcore traveler rather than a tourist. Hope this helps people understand me.

AM planning SPiti kinnaur for Jul-Aug. How was the weather there during your trip?

hi, if u r planning anything in july/august then i am in... i have a classic 350 and m also planning on solo... did this trip last year during the same time... but with a couple of friends... mind u, it's a tough and quite a lonely trek to ride on... especially once you cross Ka & Nako onwards and right upto the time you actually reach Manali.,.. but guess that's the fun of it. and yes, it's worth it.

Yes, my schedule is ready for July-Aug. However, my mode of transport is local buses and taxis.
Me and a friend are starting off from Manali on July 19th. He returns to Mumbai on July 28th while I continue to Kinnaur, and completing by Aug 12. Yeah, I guess it would get lonely, would like to have a travel partner.
I have a detailed plan handy, in case you would like to join.
