Kerala in december

Just decided to head to Kerala at the end of this week to close off my stay in India.

I only have about two and a half weeks and don't plan to become very active; want to make a trip on the backwaters, see Cochin and chill out in Varkala. I would love to see some elephants in the wild but i don't know if i will make it that far this trip.

Anyone with (partly) similar plans? I don't mind travelling alone but would be nice if we where in the same place at the same time to have coffee or so.

Hi there me and my friend Kyle have plans to be in Kerala in mid December and also to pretty much do the exact same itinerary you mentioned. Only possibly in the opposite order. We will be travelling through Tamil Nadu and then travelling north through Kerala.

But email me anyways if you're interested in meeting up at some point. Having a small group will definately help to cut costs during the peak season. Especially in the backwaters and stuff.

I'm heading to Kerala for 2 week's on my own on Friday... would be great to meet up with other's... Staying in Varkala for the first 3 night's, then not 100% certain what next... gonna wait and see what happen's...
