Kargil-Leh-Manali in July/Aug 2005

Hello,

I am 37/M computer engineer form Mumbai (Bombay) India.

I am planning to travel north india by jeep in June-July-Aug 2005.
My travelling plan is to travel from Srinagar -> Drass -> Kargil -> Leh -> Manali and covering nearby areas. It would be around 15-18 days trip.

Reason in search for a travel partner is to share the travelling and accomodation expenses as travelling by a jeep is expensive in this area.

Anybody interested??

You'll find many people interested in sharing the trip with you.
But most of them do it the other way, starting from Manali and ending it at Srinagar.

I am doing this as well... Am still undecided whether thru manali or thru srinagar... wud like to make it to leh via manali,,, but will do the srinagar way if the road is closed...

As of now, i reach manali / srinagar on 10th June...

Lts figure if we can hook up...

I was also thinking about Ladakh .. but can't be sure now .. hope to be there by this year ..
