Naadi Josiyam is not only in Kancheepuram biut alsoin Chennai. There are lots of people claiming that they read Naadi Josiyam. According to many people, the best place to Naadi Josiyam is in and around Vaitheeswaran temple near Mayavaram.
Sorry don't know the one in Kancheepuram.Suggest you to visit vicinity of Vaitheeswaran temple once for Naadi Josiyam.
