India from around March/April - North, South, Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, undecided!

Hi,

I'm looking for a travel companion to India.

I'm planning on traveling to India from mid-March to mid-April. I'm hoping to time it so that it falls on the Anzac Day long weekend (less leave off work). I have 3 weeks.

At first I was thinking of seeing the North with a tour group through Delhi, Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmere, Rohet, Udaipur, Jaipur and Agra.

Then I started thinking about the South by myself: Mumbai, Kovalum, Madurai, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kerala Backwaters Cruise, Cochin and Goa.

Now, I'm thinking of the Golden Triangle tour (North) for a week then 2 weeks in South India with one or two like-minded travellers.

I'm 26, mature and travelled. My research indicates that it's pretty cheap in India so I'm not really worried about a budget (but no 4 or 5 star hotels, either!). Unfortunately, my mates wanna go later this year (and I can't). I don't want to alone and it'd be a shame not to share the great itineraries I've made.

Im heading over at the end of this week and will be spending 5 months going south from Kolkata then north through Kerala Goa and up to Rishikesh and out from Delhi. Nothing fixed yet.

Hi.. I wld be in Goa duting early March hopefully ..I am not looking out for Travel Partners ..but wld like to catch up for a beer ..I will be staying somewhereard Anjuna/vagator in North Goa ..
