In Darjeeling wanting to head south.

Hello, I have been in India now for 7 days and I'll be here until Feb 10 2008. So far I've been through Delhi (where I arrived), and Varanasi. Now I'm enjoying Darjeeling but want to head to a warmer climate. I am a 27 year male from Portland Or. It would be nice to have a travel companion that I can either meet down south or around here to head south. I'm also down with some trecking around here for a few days. I am a first time India visitor, and a first time traveller out of the USA, and also a first time indiamike member so I'm still experiencing the learning curve. I think it would be a lot easier to get around with someone else. Let me know if you are also seeking some company. Thanks.

Will be in Chennai starting on January 26th. Also looking for some people to explore with. This will probably be towards the end of your trip. But if you happen to be in the area I will be heading towards Kerala on train after a few days in Chennai.
