Himachal pradesh

Some time end of April I need to get from Dhamsala to Manali. I need to get to Manali in the evening. What is the best way of getting there and how long will it take?
After staying for few weeks in Manali, I need to visit Manala, Simla and then back to Delhi. I Have only 4 days to spare after leaving Manali. In these 4 days I need to cover Manala trek and visit Simla. A full day in Simla would be nice. On the 4th day I need to return to Delhi at say 11pm at night. Any suggestions/advice on the best possible ways I can achieve this.

The route from Dharamsala to Manali is via Palampur, Jogindernagar, Mandi, Pandoh, Aut and Kullu; and passes through some magnificent scenery. You can take a bus / hire a taxi for this journey of 235 kms.

If you have only four days at your disposal after Manali, then I suggest you concentrate on Malana alone and avoid Shimla.

I haven't been to Malana, hence cannot answer this part.

You can spend the second night at Kullu - there is plenty of accomodation available here.

Do check for the days of operation of the Kullu-Delhi flight before finalising your dates.

There are hotels in Bhunter and I remember finding a room without prior reservation.
