Goa January to March
I will be in Goa from the middle of January to March. Hopefully I will do some volunteering.
Would anyone be interested to share accommodation (apartment) for this time? If you do, contact me! Andreas |

Hey Andreas
I am planning on heading to Goa after New Years. I have already been here for a month and I think my travel partner and I may have different plans so I am looking to hang out at the beaches, take some yoga, maybe learn and instrument, eat good food and meet great people. I would be interested in renting a place but exact locations I know not.

Hello Milky!
I thought about taking some yoga as well. I planned to during my holiday, but didn't have the time. I still haven't thought anything further about accommodation, but I might stay at a cheap hotel in Panjim or somewhere close. How long will you be in Goa? Andreas |

I'll be there.
Hi!
I am travelling to India for 3 and a half months. I arrive in Mumbai on January 14th. I will be going to Mumbai, Goa, Dharamsala, and Kathmandu (Nepal), among other destinations. I expect to be in Goa for 2 weeks (maybe more) in the beginning of February. Wanna meet up? Talk to you later, Andrew |

Goa mid February for 10 days
Hi Andreas,
our interests seem to be the same. As you arrive earlier you might have also some good experiences where to find nice beaches and what to do. I know that you do not know at the moment where you will be at that time exactly, but maybe we can meet. Interested? Regards, Peter (Austrian, not German) |

Videosyncrasy,
Yes, we could meet up in Goa! Where exacly will you be in Goa (South, north etc)? By the way, are you travelling to Goa by plane, train or bus? I am still considering how to get myself from Mumbai to Goa. I am arriving in Mumbai on January 22nd. pesteiner, When will you be in Goa? I am heading to India by the middle of January and will be in Goa only due to volunteering in the area. I was in Goa a few weeks ago and found some great beaches in the south. I also parasailed in the north! |

Mumbai to Goa
Andreas.
I have considered 3 options for travelling from Mumbai to Goa: Hitchhiking, Motorcycle or Train. I would most like to hire a motorcycle in Mumbai and ride to Goa, but I have never been to India before and I am not very experienced riding motorcycles. I would like to investigate the road conditions when I am in Mumbai before I decide on this option. I have always wanted to try hitchhiking. I would like to do it at least once while in India. How long do you intend to stay in Mumbai before you leave for Goa? I will be there until the 27th or 28th of January. Talk to you soon, Andrew |

North or South?
Sorry, I forgot something...
I have not decided where I will stay in Goa, nor do I know how long I will stay. I would like to explore and find somewhere I feel comfortable. I would also like to visit Gokarna, which is further south than Goa. Andrew |

I only intend to stay in Mumbai for six hours before I leave for Goa. I should arrive in Goa on January 22nd.
The road conditions in India are very poor. At least they are in the surroundings of Goa, but I believe it is the same all over the country. However travelling on the road by car is an experience! It must be even more of an experience by motorcycle. In Goa there are many nice hotels and rooms available. Are you travelling to India alone? Andreas |

Hey Videosyncrasy,
You seem like you have a great trip planned. Enjoy it all, but one strong recommendation, drop th eidea of renting a bike a riding it down to GOA. For starters, once you arrive in Mumbai, you'll realize how crazy and unsafe it is to drive. Nothing like Canada, or any civilized counrty... No binding law/road rules. |
