Hi there,

I am a 32 year old dual citizen of the US and Germany...living in the States. I will be in Rishikesh starting May 1st til June 9th. I will be in a yoga class at Parmarth Niketan with a friend for the first 2 weeks, but after that she will be flying back and I will be on my own. Would love to meet up with someone to check out the area together. Possibly being interested going to check out Dharamsala for a couple of days or maybe some light trekking. Mostly I am planning to stay in Rishikesh though.

feel free to contact me if you happen to be in Rishikesh at this time

Travel Buddy up North

Hey there. My name is Beth. I am originally from Los Angeles doing some freelance work out here in Mumbai and have been living here almost 2 months. I am looking to travel up North most likely to wwoof (volunteer on an organic farm where they feed and house you) for a couple of weeks to a month in May. I am probably going to take the train from Mumbai where I am currently, but it would be great to meet people out there! Let me know if any of this sounds good to you or anyone reading this and we should talk!

Also anyone with advice on which wwoofing spot to choose would be awesome. People with experiences please chime in! I am thinking near the himalayas since it will hopefully be cooler weather.

And lastly anyone know about the organization AIM abroad? Just sent in an application to volunteer with them but hearing from people who have already volunteered with them would be great!

Hello ladies I am 26 year old girl from the UK and I would love to meet up with some travel buddies to share all or part of my travels with. I'm planning to fly to Delhi in early July 2011 and this is my rough outline of the kind of thing that I would like to do;

July -
Delhi, Dehra Dun, Shimla, dharamsalali, Leh, Amritsar,

August - September -
Valley of flowers trek, Sivananda kutir ashram, Rishikesh, Corbett tiger reserve, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur,Udipur.

Let me know if you fancy doing something simular or travelling together

Hi Charlotte,

I'm arriving in Delhi on 1 July and will be quickly leaving for a trip to Shimla, Dharmasala/McLeodGanj, Amritsar (and Spiti Valley, I hope). Perhaps we can do this together. I do plan to spend a couple of days in Delhi first, just to optimize my culture shock experience.

Later on, late july-mid-August, I'll be going to Rajasthan (Agra and Jaipur only, I think) and Varanasi.

PM me if you'd like to chat about possibly traveling together.

Udaipur-Rishikesh-Dharamsala

Hello! I'll be in Udaipur 4/23-4/26 then am heading up to Rishikesh and Dharamsala 4/29-5/5.

I'm about to graduate medical school and am exploring and learning to cultivate my meditation practice. It's been great traveling on my own, but if anyone is on a similar trail, let me know
