Female travelpartner march 2009

Hi!

Im a 26 years old girl from Norway and Im looking for a FEMALE travelpartner for my second trip to India. Im probably going in march 2009 and will stay for about 3-4 weeks. I really want to see Sikkim and Kolkata so if you share my interest in these destinations, please contact me!

I have a doubt !! Are foreigner's allowed to enter sikkim??? I read or heard somewhere that even indians need permission to enter there because of border issue's with china!!! Can anybody please clarify??

Yes, foreigners are allowed to visit certain parts of Sikkim provided they get Inner Line permits.

If you go by air,land at Bagdogra and get the permit and if you go by road, at the gate of Bengal/Sikkim border.The same can be obtained from FRO(Foreigners Registration Office)at Kolkata also.You will have a great time,I am sure, so go ahead.
