Far North in May - anyone going?

anyone going to be in the far north during may? I have a month to kill and want to be in india for that time, mainly in the north for langage practice... would only really leave most of the hill station regions cos I dont want to be burnt alive. anyone planning to be round there during that time?

Hi issac!

I'm arriving at Delhi on the 4th of may but i was thinking of doing the hill stations -> the buddhist circuit -> sikkim. Is it relly hot around the Hill Stations in may?
The India Meteorogical Deparment (http://www.imd.ernet.in/) says that around april the mean temperature is 25 °C and around july is 30 °C (there isn't a map for May or June )

Anyway I'll be 3 or 4 days in Delhi after landing there, so we could meet somewhere and have some chai

Hey,

yeah thats the sort of route im considering... I think itll be much hotter than 25/30C during may in Delhi... around 40 is more likely. The hill stations/sikkim etc should be much cooler though.
